Here at IMAGE we aim high by keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus. The Bible text on the home page says it all, God looks at the heart but others just focus on what we look like, how we sound, what we wear or what we can do. At IMAGE we believe everyone has a gift or talent that can be used to help others, so we spent some time planning a day to use our gifts and talents to raise funds for the international charity War Child.

War Child works with children affected by war in Afghanistan, Iraq, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda. Their work with former child soldiers, children in prison and children living and working on the streets gives them support, protection and opportunities and involves the children directly in all the project decision-making.

Our support went directly to helping War Child's work in the Democratic Republic of Congo where street children and child soldiers need support to survive day-to-day and reintegrate back into family or community life.

War Child also works in Iraq where one child dies every 5 minutes. 1.5 million children have been displaced, 1 in 5 are malnourished and almost half can't go to school.
War Child is the only international child protection agency working in south Iraq and by working directly with children and their communities War Child has made children's lives more safer and more secure in such terrible circumstances.
